Delete your account

You can delete your Cupbook account and your journal at any time. There are two ways: from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

From the app

Open Cupbook → Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no recovery step and no waiting period.

By email — if you've uninstalled the app

Write to support@cupbook.app from the email address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account. We use the sending address to identify the account, so please write from that address — if you can't, tell us which address the account uses and we'll verify before deleting anything.

We action these within 30 days, and normally much sooner.

What gets deleted

Your account — the email address or identifier from Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In, and your display name.
Your entire journal — every check-in, with its rating, tasting notes and brew details.
Your profile record and scan history counters.

What stays, and why

Coffees you added to the shared catalog remain, because other people's journals reference them. They were never attributed to you by name, and after deletion nothing links them to you.

Community ratings on a coffee are anonymous aggregates — a total and a count, not a list of people. Your individual rating is removed from your journal; the aggregate figure itself carries no identity to delete.
